Happy Trigger
Royal College of Art, 2006
What could a belief system for the 21st century look like, designed to serve the needs of a secularized society where the only shared value is that of ritual consumption? Can material objects, embedded in the context of a broader value system, possibly work as “happy triggers”?
An exercise in creative design, exploring the shared infrastructures and psychological patterns of mass consumption and other belief systems, involving audio tactile frequencies. An instant gratification package that can simply be connected to your ipod or downloaded as a podcast.
You can listen to Happy Trigger here.

Happy Trigger was tested successfully with different probands at the Charming Disaster Exhibition in London in May 2007.
